Everyone at Genon Laboratories is very excited about new developments in 2010:

* Exhibiting at the Food & Drink Expo, Birmingham NEC 21st-24th March

* Sponsoring the Gluten Free Breads & Bread Mixes category at the FreeFrom Foods Awards 21st April 2010

* Seeking Flexible Scope in ELISA based allergen and mycotoxin analysis to support our existing UKAS schedule of accreditation

* Expanding range of quantitative DNA based analysis

* Seeking UKAS accreditation for quantitaitve GMO analysis

What's more, we are also expanding our laboratories and offices by occupying the unit next door. This enables us to more comfortably house our bigger team (not from Christmas indulgence, but due to new recruits Claire and Julia) and also accommodate an increasing range of services, including quantitative DNA work and HPLC analysis (more details about this later!). Our new office, laboratory and sample receipt room should be ready for us to complete the reorganisation in the next few weeks.
